1. Information You Provide
- Sign in with Apple: When you choose to sign in with Apple, we receive a unique user identifier and, if you choose to share, your name and email address.
- Display Name: Your chosen display name for leaderboards (optional).
- Game Progress: Your level progress, scores, achievements, and statistics.
2. Automatically Collected Information
- Device Information: A unique device identifier is automatically generated to track your progress locally.
- Gameplay Data: Game statistics including scores, reaction times, accuracy, combos, and completion rates.
- Analytics: Basic usage analytics to help us improve the game (game sessions, feature usage, performance metrics).
- Crash Reports: Anonymous crash and error reports via Firebase Crashlytics to identify and fix bugs.
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your precise location data.
- We do not access your camera, microphone, or photo library.
- We do not collect sensitive personal information.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Game Functionality: To save your progress, track achievements, and provide personalized game experiences.
- Leaderboards: To display your scores and rankings on public leaderboards (using your chosen display name).
- Cross-Device Sync: To sync your game progress across your devices when you sign in with Apple.

Data Storage and Security
Local Storage
Most of your game data is stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage mechanisms. This includes:

Cloud Storage
When you sign in with Apple, certain data is securely stored in Firebase Cloud Firestore:
- Player profile (display name, user ID)

Sign in with Apple
Hue Rush uses Sign in with Apple for optional user authentication. This provides:
- Privacy Protection: You control what information you share with us.
- Hide My Email: Apple can generate a random email address to protect your real email.
- Secure Authentication: Your Apple ID credentials are never shared with us.
- Easy Revocation: You can revoke access at any time from your iOS Settings.
When you sign in with Apple, we receive:
- A unique user identifier (not your Apple ID)
- Your name (if you choose to share it)
- Your email address (if you choose to share it, or a private relay email)

For Parents: If your child is playing Hue Rush, they can enjoy the full game experience without creating an account. The optional Sign in with Apple feature requires parental permission for children under 13.
Your Rights and Choices
Account Management
- Play Without Signing In: You can play Hue Rush fully without creating an account.
- Sign Out: You can sign out of your Apple account at any time from the Settings menu.
- Revoke Access: Revoke Sign in with Apple access from iOS Settings → Apple ID → Password & Security → Apps Using Your Apple ID.
Data Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of your data.
- Correction: Update incorrect or incomplete data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data (see "Data Deletion" below).
- Portability: Receive your data in a portable format.
- Objection: Object to certain data processing activities.
Data Deletion
You can delete your data in the following ways:
- Local Data: Delete the app from your device to remove all local data.
- Cloud Data: Use the "Reset All Progress" option in Settings to clear your cloud-stored game data.
- Full Account Deletion: Contact us at support@onebrightstudio.com to request complete deletion of all your data from our servers.
Note: Deleted data cannot be recovered. Please ensure you want to permanently delete your data before proceeding.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide the game services:
- Active Accounts: Data is retained while you actively use the game.
- Inactive Accounts: After 2 years of inactivity, we may delete your cloud-stored data.
- Analytics Data: Aggregated analytics are retained for up to 14 months.
- Crash Reports: Crash data is retained for 90 days.
International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
Firebase (Google Cloud Platform) operates data centers globally and implements industry-standard security measures to protect data during transfer and storage.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by:
